Samantha "Sam" Uley is a Quileute shape-shifter. Being the first of the current generation to phase into a wolf, she is the Alpha of the new pack. She is the imprinter and girlfriend of Elliott Young and the ex-girlfriend of Lee Clearwater. Her Twilight Saga counterpart is Sam Uley.

Early life[]
Sam was raised on the Quileute reservation by a single parent. As a result, Sam took on many responsibilities at home and became very mature for her age.
She later became a shape-shifter, the first of her generation, and formed the Uley pack.
Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined[]

Samantha Uley first appears with a minor role in Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined as a nineteen-year-old local who arrives at First Beach with a group of other Quileute teenagers to socialize with Beau Swan and his friends. She is the one who informed Beau that the Cullens "don't come here", pointing to La Push.
She later makes an appearance at the end of the novel to confront the Cullens.
Physical appearance[]
Sam is described as having long, rounded muscles, a very deep voice, an older face, copper skin, cropped black hair and brown eyes.
Wolf form[]
As a wolf, Sam is described as having black fur. She is huge, quiet as a shadow, tall as a horse but more muscular, with dagger-like incisors and golden eyes. She has a grisly snarl and is very swift.
