Please sign your posts, and why would Charlie be on this page? Carlisle is the guy who created the rest of the Olympic Coven, and Charlie is Bella's dad. They are barely related, and that's only by Edward and Bella's marriage.---Jasper- 03:54, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
bella needs connection with her father. it doesnt matter if he's mortal, everybody needs a father. :) and bella has carlisle as a father in law and charlie as her real father. <3

Stephenie Meyer, in her personal correspondence #4 with the Twilight Lexicon, indicates that the 'Stregoni Benefici' is, in fact, Carlisle Cullen. He spent a significant amount of time in Italy with the Volturi, and the legend of the Stregoni Benefici was obviously born out of this.
